Your files stay on your device.

This policy applies to the Android app Large File Finder & Cleaner (package com.jeweality.largefilefinder), developed by Mahesh Varma for JEWEALITY. It covers the app and this website.

The app itself does not collect, store on a server, or sell personal information. It has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics SDK.

• All files access (Android 11 and newer): needed to scan your internal storage and to move or delete the files you choose.
• Storage permissions (Android 8 to 10): the same purpose on older versions.
• Internet and network state: used only to load ads and to show the consent form.
• Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob for ads (see section 6).

Information read on your device is used only to:

• list large files and show totals, categories and filters;
• open, share or delete files that you select;
• keep your deleted files in the in-app Recycle Bin, when that option is on;
• remember your settings.

Scan results and settings are kept in a local database and preferences file inside the app. When the Recycle Bin is on, deleted files are moved into a folder inside the app and removed permanently after the period you choose (7, 15 or 30 days). Uninstalling the app removes all of this data.

Files deleted with the Recycle Bin turned off are removed permanently and cannot be recovered.

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, such as the advertising ID, and information about your ad interactions, to show relevant ads.

• Before ads are shown in regions that require it, you see a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your choice from the form or your device settings.
• Ads are provided by third parties. We do not control their content. Please read Google's Privacy Policy for how AdMob handles data.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information. Files are shared only when you choose the Share action, and then through the share sheet of your own device.

The app is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will act on it.

• Turn off the Recycle Bin or change the auto-empty period in Settings.
• Revoke storage permission in your device settings.
• Manage ad personalisation in the consent form or your Google account settings.
• Uninstall the app to remove all data stored by the app.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Significant changes will be shown in the app or on this page before they take effect.
